how sweep it is..

3-0..Fouts was going deep to a lot of batters and walked 5 yesterday. Had only walked 17 before that

Swept the Gators in Gainesville. Only Kentucky and LSU stand in our way.

Even at full strength, Baton Rouge has given us problems. I don't think we've swept the Tigers since before the Jackie Traina days, we may not have even taken a series.

Don’t kid yourself! Alexia Osorio was one of the greatest Bama pitchers ever and would have been the number two on this team. Bama couldn’t hit its way out of a paper bag last year. And let us keep it real...Montana Fouts has brought a confidence to this team which has filtered into every aspect of play.

Yes, Cornwall has been excellent and fits perfectly as this clubs number two so it’s really not even a worthwhile comparison to jab at Alexis.

dont kid yourself either. She was full of walks which cost many runs. She was by no means one of the best ever to play at Bama.

This is a hard discussion for me. Rating (or remembering) the best Alabama pitchers. I attended some games when Kelly Kretchman was there around 2000-2001 and Shelley Laird was our pitcher. Vanbrankle, Kelsi Dunne, Jackie Traina. Alexis Osorio seemed good her first couple of years.
Not counting this years pitchers. Anyone Im missing?

Alexis absolutely was one of the greatest pitchers ever at Bama and Coach Murphy used those EXACT words in describing Alexis. Not mention her pitching proved it and she had likely the least talented teams behind her. #factsanditisoktobewrong

Jackie is the greatest and then Kelsey but Montana will challenge Jackie for that top spot. Those two, Jackie and Montana, are above all the rest in overall talent

I was always confident we would win with Jackie on the mound. This year is the first time since her departure that I have felt that way.

Whole team just has a better vibe than years past. Hopefully this weekend was them revving up for the homestretch.

this is the best pitching staff I can recall. 3 starters with ERA's under 1.81.

Is anybody noticing (on ESPN) UGA wearing “eye glitter” instead of eye black. Idiots - I am pretty sure glitter will reflect the sun/brightness. Maybe they were working the poles last night and forgot to wash it off lol

Jackie will stay at #1 so long as she's the one with a National Championship.

Hopefully Montana can pass her in that category, multiple times.

I am cool with the eye glitter. Girls will, and should, be girls.

Bama holds on for a 6-4 win. Belmont scores all their runs in the top of the 7th.

these are the type of games where we pitch girl number 4 and 5 and save the top 3 for the weekends.

Geddins pitched 5 strong I think. Cornell pitched 2 innings and struggled..odd for her but all four runs were earned I believe
