Damn.
It’s really over. He doesn’t care anymore.

Any thoughts that Milroe belongs in any type of Heisman talk, even as a hypothetical is absolutely crazy. I want the guy to do well as he is the QB of the team I love and die for, but the deficiencies are GLARING. He is the best of what we have at the moment, and we can win some games with him. Assuming he is going to morph into Cam Newton is asking for disappointment.

I think Simpson can and will develop, maybe even Milroe.
Both of these guys are incredibly talented and can be good-great with proper coaching.
I’m glad the Buchner experiment is over though. He could have Peyton in the booth and Brady on the sideline and he’d still suck. He’s arm is busted.

Considering Simpsons stats are about par for a 9 pass sample size, I don’t know if you’re making the point you think you’re making
You're being willfully ignorant. I liked Ty Simpson as well but the reality is he made only one big pass and took at least 2 sacks from holding the ball too long.
If not for Roydell basically running through USF the optics would have looked much more different.

You're damn delusional. The only thing you're looking for is a black QB. You got him.
Posted on 9/18/23 at 2:41 pm to YStar
And Milroe took multiple sacks he ran into, threw two near pick sixes, and had a handful more dropped interceptions. At some point those cross body throws at the LOS down the sideline are going to bite him as well
I mean, you can’t say ignorance but try to parrot a stat line argument when the stat lines presented don’t fit it in the first place. Simpsons 5/9 with a throwaway and rate wise his YPA is the same .
For a 9 pass sample size, you’re not doing much with that when you compare it on a rate basis to your comparables

Cam’s first 3 games in 2010 he was 27/47(57.4%) with 7 TDs and 3 picks.
It’s not how you start it show you finish.

What?!
I was for Coker over Sims. I was for AJ over Phil Sims. I am always for the QB who gives us the best shot to win. I don’t look at just completion percentage like a lot of you guys do. I told you guys last year and again this year before the season that the middle or our oline would be a problem until Dalcourt was removed. Jalen gives us the best chance to win with our deficiencies. I’m not addressing that post again and I won’t take it back. The person who I responded to was being racist. I never said anyone else was.

Both of these guys are two year starters, we have three QBs with a grand total of what, 6 starts combined?

You are correct. However, Jalen would’ve shredded that defense just like he did against MTSU. Buchner is awful and Simpson is green. We have one QB that can win right now and our OC needs to call games to his strengths.

It’s funny because if you take away one of his picks he likely wins the game and is a top 5 for the Heisman.
That’s a dumb sonofabitch.

Bookmarked. I’ll be sure to bring this back up in about 3 weeks when he’s getting serious Heisman buzz.

Curious to know if Milroe was really suspended
I don't recall a player ever being suspended without Saban acknowledging that.

Josh Pate said he thinks he was suspended. He’s really connected in Tuscaloosa. Saban also said before the season that he was going to discuss player suspensions anymore with the media.

And you'll tell us how hypothetically if this happened he would be a front runner in the Heisman race.

Can someone please tell who tf "the troublemakers" are on our team and what trouble they are making? And where this has been reported?
