Was he hurt or just couldn’t crack the starting lineup?

QW is a RSo and played behind a First Round guy in Daron Payne. He played a lot the previous year.

Hes not quite as big of a one year wonder as people think. Had 6.5 tfl and 2 sacks in only 9 games last year

This reminds me of the time we had the guy saying Saban was an idiot because Derrick Henry was a back up until his last year. He just happen to be behind TJ Yeldon who had rushed for a 1000 yards both as a freshman and sophomore and was considered by some to be the best back of Saban's run until that point. Sometimes blue chippers get caught behind blue chippers at Bama.

Not that the OP is saying that about Saban it just made me think of that.

The deer antler spray takes a little longer on some players.

Saban has become more kind and gentle as he has gotten older. He did not think it was good for LSU and other teams in the SEC to inflict 2 more years of Q-domination on you so he suggested that Q take his skills to the NFL where he could get better competition.
