Mack's throw was on time with good ball placement. These are not really comparable.
His receiver was smothered by the defender.

That was just a great throw and catch.

They all played well, all made good throws in tight spaces

The Mercer QB, who grew up going to Ala Football with his dad, looked very good for a freshman. He could end up at a big school. And, who was their receiver that caught the TD pass with one hand. He made that look easy, and never tried to use his left hand.

Simpson clearly isn’t as fast as Milroe (Who is?) but I’d argue he can actually juke guys and has some wiggle when he runs, something I’ve never really seen Milroe do.
I know some Milroe fans heads will now explode having said that. I’m saying that Milroe can run like a deer but he’s not as shifty as Simpson.

I’ve wanted to see what Simpson could do if he ever could get some snaps with the first team unit. Not necessarily to push Milroe and create a controversy but to see how good he could be if Milroe were to get injured and also to see how he could throw the ball. Sort of like when Tua got some playing time throughout the 2017 season. Just thinking out loud.
