I will give our guys lots of credit for fighting hard to get back in the game and getting a lead in the 4th quarter. 28-10 was looking really bleak, especially when we weren't showing any indication that we could stop them.

I assure you, they are embarrassed.

That was disgusting to say the least. Bryce needs to work on his acting a bit too. He should be come up holding his chin to emphasize the punch. Upstairs had to catch that for review apparently.
On player safety, 11 on their D cost 3 injury to’s. Is that responsible for the Ut medical staff to keep sending an injured player back in the game? It’s all about liability, not player safety. No one wants wants the initial court cost or award hit if a player feels he has to compete to keep his lineup spot, etc.
and so far the rules committee seems disinterested in curbing abuse of injury timeouts in any noticeable fashion. It continues to be a farce, especially to fast teams and in crucial periods of momentum.

and what in the absolute hell was up with the chain crew idiot not accepting that that was a 4th down? And then it took like 10-15 minutes for the refs to come to the conclusion that the jackass was wrong? That smug a-hole was just smirking with 3rd down on the chain marker, and wouldn't change it. That was one of the oddest things I've ever seen.

We can be bad and the refs can suck. I'm not sure why they have to mutually exclusive.
The refs have 2 jobs... Make sure the game is played fairly and by teams following rules reduce injuries. If anyone thinks this game was called fairly then you need to look at the half dozen blatant missed calls or bad calls that's all over the internet.
Our team has its issues but it doesn't release these guys from not performing their job correctly. If I was as bad at my job as these refs were I would be fired.
They didn't know what down it was...every last one of them had no clue. If it hadn't been for replay ut would have been given a 5th down. That is inexcusable. On the targeting the guy lowered his helmet and made contact with Bryce's helmet. His shoulder was a glancing blow, it just accidentally made contact with Bryce.
You guys don't want to blame the loss on the officials fine but these guys need fired. They are incompetent

He went to work somewhere today and had to listen to everyone tell him what a fricktard he is. His face was plastered on national TV for several seconds.

I have never seen anything like this in my 20+ years watching football, how do all the people saying the officials had no outcome on the game feel about this one?
At the very least it shows they are incompetent and should not be trusted to officiate a matchup of top 10 teams
That, the no call on the roughing of Bryce, the pass interference call that was made egregiously late...

Not true. The referee said that the call of being stopped on 4th down was confirmed. The replay only occured to make sure because of the discrepancy. The down marker guy wasn't changing.
The real incompetence of the officials on the field...especially the head linesman...was not catching the down marker guy's frickup earlier.

The chain interaction was awkward to say the least. Can’t believe both sides of the field were wrong. When these two run your down markers though, what can you expect?……

You don't need review if they were keeping track of it as they should.

Happy to see the "stop making excuses" crowd get shouted down. There was an obvious reason to be pissed and it wasn't sour apples.
