He pretty much admits that they were tampering mid season.

Nothing will happen, but tampering is what the NCAA should be treating very seriously.

Proctor seems like a good kid. I don't think he wanted to deal with the pressure of being a player at Alabama. Obviously missed where he is from. I'm sure he was offered a lot of money too. Is what it is.

NCAA should come down on them hard. Particularly given the circumstances.

The whole situation has been very unfair to us. We were penalized for being in the playoffs.

It is what it is now. The players are running the show and the schools are along for the ride.

NCAA is showing more and more that they have no control over anything. Would expect little to nothing to come of this.

They seem to lose in court every time. I don’t know what they can really do

They're the old man on the front porch shaking their cane at the kids in the street. Laughed at or ignored every time.

If you didn't know he was rated a 5* and you just watched him play you might get the idea he was a 3* project from a 3A high school.

They can't do anything to the kid but they CAN do something to the institution that clearly violated the rule.

Take away some scholarships and maybe next time they aren't so quick to play fast and loose.

They could get creative with their transfer rules. For example, players could be allowed to enter the portal, but any team accepting a portal player would have a portal window open for their team starting at that time.

I would be willing to bet money on the following:

*Bama will win more games than Iowa every year he's there.
*He will never play in a B1G championship game.
*He'll never see the playoffs.
*He'll be drafted later than he would have been had he stayed at Bama.

I agree with all but the last. Usually good tackles from places like Iowa are noticed and drafted accordingly.
I say this mostly because I don’t think Wilford was gonna get it done.
Very likely he would have as good of coaching there.

With respect Tup, I don't believe you understand that those that created this mess isn't looking for fairness to the schools. This is all about money for the players and it will not be reversed!

This similar to DEI but with a jock.

Paying players and DEI are not even remotely similar.
