I'm starting a class, and can't do anything for a few hours. I'll see to better labeling in the early afternoon.
Does anyone know what kind of speed Williams Jr. has?

Regarding OLBs, I'm super stoked. Chris Allen is a dude, but there are several guys on that depth chart who can and will give us good minutes. And with radically improved ILB play, this unit should be much more empowered to stay in its wheelhouse and pressure the pocket. I'm super pumped.

I heard Tua has pulled out of the draft but will backup Bryce Young.

That's 3 deep on the DL right there. I just hope to see a healthy group crank it up this Friday. DJ Dale got snake-bit a little with his knee last season. He is a big part of a very nasty and deep group. Ray and probably Mathis get the starting nod. But Baremore is must-watch TV. Eboigbe and Young played quite a bit last season too. No excuse to not have the most disruptive DL in the SEC.

There’s no way Mathis is starting. I’d bet the starting three are Ray, Dale, and Barmore

I would like to see how Sopsher has progressed. He was such a big recruit and hopefully he pans out. If not him, then I think that Timothy Smith could make an impact.

If somebody can think of what non-starters were on last year’s kickoff and punt coverage, then you’ll likely find some guys who will get a lot of time on the field this year. That’s usually how it works.

Tyrell Shavers is the first name that comes to mind.

Slade Bolden was everywhere on special teams last year also

Ale Kaho. Really hope the light comes on for him this spring. He was a special teams demon last year.

Slade will have a big year for us.

Yea I think so too, for saban to put the ball in his hands on most of our 4th down attempts says a lot about his trust in him. I hope the light comes on for shavers and kaho too. Kaho is a beast just needs to put in the work this offseason to get the mental aspect down

From what I understand, Shaver's lack of playing time hasn't been due to the "light not having come on", but that there were simply incredible players in front of him. Word is that he has been tearing up our defense at practice for quite some time.

If that were the case then he would have been on the field last year. But it was Metchie who came in the game first off the bench. I hope Shavers plays better this year. We'll need him. If not, someone like Holden will pass him.

There are multiple wide receiver positions. X and Z and so on are different positions. Tyrell Shavers was back up at one of those positions, even listed as such on the depth chart, and played second team minutes just like the second team field corner, second team left guard, or second team Will LB. There isn't a single linear depth chart at WR, although we do crosstrain positions with experienced players. When Metchie came in due to injury, it was because the starter at his position got injured. Saban explained it similarly when asked, I believe.
