And what does that have to do with us? Our defense, secondary especially, is not good. Florida could have been looking ahead to us

But we were super focused on southern miss. Kentucky passes for almost 400 yards on the vaunted florida secondary and nearly beats them and you don't think has any relevance?

First off, I said last week and let me reiterate, Amari Cooper is by far our best football player. Best WR in the nation for sure and possible goat at Bama.
If he gets a blitnikoff, I would put him at goat. He has shown he is a complete receiver and is basically ready for the next level now. If Julio didn't occasionally have bricks for hands, he would have been the best. Of course, all apologies to Don Hutson.

They had no business getting the last int either. It hit the Kentucky reviewer perfectly in both hands and he drops it. If he makes that catch, they are in field goal range.

Honestly, Kentucky kind of threw the game away. Think about that time Driskel threw the ball into the hands on the UK DB and it ricocheted into the hands of the UF receiver. If the DB makes that catch, they win.

Biggest problem I see with this team is communication. On both sides of the ball. The D still struggles to line up or get set before the snap.
The O struggles with getting lined up and a play signaled in, in anything but hurry up.

One of the huge benefits of the 3-4 and Saban's version is pre-snap movement and creating confusion. It has natural holes that are intended to be masked pre snap. It is a dont bend break defense. O's get not much of anything or they guess right and get a bunch. When you play teams that go fast they dont care what you are doing over there, they are going to run the play any way.
It explains why we can shut down an O for long periods and get gashed quickly several times in a row.

Different offense. We won't pass as much as Kentucky. Kentucky matches up better with Florida's defense. I'm more concerned with how good Driskel will look against our defense. Our secondary leaves lots to be desired.

Revealing Florida to be a very average football team? I watched all of that game after the Georgia-Carolina game ended, and they did not look too impressive. Sure, they could have been looking ahead, but the opposite is equally possible.

Didn't we look just as average defensively against WVU. I mean they aren't exactly world beaters ya know. While everyone else is worried about us being able to throw down field, I've just come to accept that our defense is not that good and we make average qbs look like All-Americans

So far WVU lit us up mainly by going after Sylve who is completely out of the lineup and our LBs minus Depriest. And they just dropped 500 yards and 4 TDs on Maryland. Outside of that there was the first quarter yesterday; USM did nothing through the air after that.

It's too early to make any conclusions really. I don't think they're going to come out looking like '11 all over again any time soon but I do believe people are overreacting.

there is nothing wrong with WVs offense, they are as good or better than probably 80% of the sec on offense

OJ has always been a liability as a blocker. His best position may not be TE. I hope he develops into what many have projected.

I will not jump on the sky is falling cause OJ's not catching passes bandwagon.

I thought Blake gained more confidence and is getting better. So is Coker.

I want us to play HUNH if we're better at it than slow methodical game control.
