According to Miami guys Bama is the reason he is in the portal. Crazy that we would go after someone young. Guess its let the best man win.

They offered Ty and he wasn't in the portal. That is rubber stamp tampering.

I am not impressed with any of our returning depth with AK Dear being the only one who I think even has the potential to be a quality SEC tailback. Hill and Riley are depth tailbacks on teams that actually run the football well.
Pringle, Dear, Crowell, and Brown are the real competition for a tailback to step up as a playmaker. Hill probably ends up being a starter early in the season though.

There really is no tampering anymore to be honest. A school may not contact a player directly, but their agent can have conversations with whoever they want whether their client is in the portal or not. Why so many players enter the portal and the same day commit to a new team.
The agent's job is to do their due diligence. Represent a player that maybe wants to see what the market would be for them. Stay on current team until agent finds out and then if better options enter portal.

Once the players could have agents, the concept of tampering is basically a rule that you only break if your program or collective is fully regarded.
Anyone crying about tampering - even if it is one of us - can be safely assumed to be huffing copium. Not even worth considering their claim legitimate.
