Jarrett Johnson had a very good career with the Ravens. He was never a star for them but he was a reliable cog in a consistently great defense over that time period.

Watched his Tennessee highlights. Not what I would consider a special type of talent, but he looked as good running the football as anyone we had last season. Someone said maybe just a short yardage back, but he’s nearly as big as Daniel Hill and the runs I saw, he looked like he had better vision than Hill. I think he has as good of a chance to start as anyone. Crowell and Dear are probably the 2 with the highest upside, and hopefully they both will be ready this season, but chances are Crowell will have a lot to learn before he’s an every down back. Maybe Dear will take that next step this season
