First off, thankful we got the W last night - it wasn’t as pretty as we’d hoped, but a win is a win and you move on.

Prior to last night, Bama looked to be the clear cut best team in the nation. It’s not as apparent now - to me at least. At this point, here are my thoughts on the team and moving forward:

1) the offense is so incredibly balanced, it would have to take all 11 players on the opposing defense to be playing out of their minds to truly shut us down. They would have to be flawless in every facet of their game, because our offense does everything damn near perfectly. With Dickerson out, that changes a lot in terms of what we can do and when we can do it, obviously. This worries me, especially if we play Clemson for it all.

And 2) this has already been harped on since the 2nd Quarter of the SECCG, but the defense has shown zero ability to stop a good offense. Again, Clemson scares me; Norte Dame - a little, not as much. Lawrence’s running ability is going to be a nightmare for us. I fully expect them to move the ball at will, and convert AT WORST 80% of their third downs. Expect a lot of three man rushes on third and long that do nothing but give Lawrence all the time he needs to wait find the guy wide open in the middle of the field, just past the sticks, while we don’t have a guy within 5-10 yards of him. At this point, it would be insane to expect otherwise.

So in short; we need the back up center to play out of his fricking mind for 2 games. I still love what this offense can do. Najee and Smitty are playing at an insane level right now, and I expect Sark to dial up a phenomenal game plan. And for Golding and the defense.. lol, hold on to your dicks because it’s gonna be rough. It should be a fun playoff, hope we can hoist the trophy at the end.

ETA UF has better weapons than both ND and Clemson on offense. Pitts will prove to be much tougher to defend than either Rogers (WR #3) or Etienne for Clemson. Etienne will certainly be tough to contain, but Pitts is absurd. Toney is no slump either. As for ND, I couldn’t name one player for ND other thank Book.

Going to be a challenge, but that's what makes it all fun.

We've got as good a shot as any.

Agreed with basically all of this, maybe we can make some adjustments on defense with the "off" week but not enough time for any real changes.

Just know any games against any good offense is going to be a war
