Why does State always do slow developing plays on 3rd and short? They pull the guard and Fitz has to wait for the hole to open before he comes in. Get your lineman to push lunge forward and use Fitz' big body to carry momentum forward. Seems like it would be an automatic first down. Instead, he always gets caught in the back field because the defense has time to close the gap.

He's obviously never heard of a screen before either. If you want to help get pressure off your QB, especially when facing 8 men in the box, just allow him to dump it off to the RB with blockers.

I honestly think if Jalen was playing with State the would at least be tied, possibly winning. Because LSU hasn't done much themselves
