I think Foxnews is shite and I don’t like the Republicans so stop assuming you know people based off a few comments. I know Republicans gladly do the same shif too. 99% of these politicians are fake and garbage.

You typing the last few paragraphs wasn’t addressing what I wrote.

What I did say was that all 1100 pages of the document was put out there and not by Fox News. In it there were a number of things that had very little if any to do with the pandemic going on right now. Including pay raises for the House and construction for the capital. She knew that wasn’t going to get approved of.

Only a fraction of those students are "on-campus" students, with the vast majority attending online:

Yet Falwell’s risky political play has yet to stop Liberty’s climb. The numbers clearly show increasing fortunes for both Liberty and its president. In the fall of 2007, the start of Jerry Falwell Jr.’s first year leading Liberty, the university enrolled just over 27,000 students, according to federal data. Today, it enrolls more than 110,000, with about 15,000 attending its campus here and the rest studying online.

Still, pulling ~15,000 students back together seems more than reckless.

Yeah this Dem is blaming Pres Trump after 2 idiots drank an aquarium cleaner & 1 died.

That would be like gargling with clorex if you ran out of mouth wash.

Sisolak’s order came a day after a Phoenix-area man died and his wife was in critical condition after taking an additive used to clean fish tanks called chloroquine phosphate, similar to the drug used to treat malaria.

People leaving NYC metro area urged to self-quarantine for 14 days

quote:

“We remain deeply concerned about New York City,” [Dr. Deborah Birx] said, adding that 31 percent of the people “succumbing” to coronavirus have been in the New York metro area — significantly higher than other regions of the country.

“About 56 percent of all the cases in the United States are coming out of that metro area and 60 percent of all the new cases are coming out of the metro New York area and 31 percent of the people succumbing to this disease,” Birx said.

“To everyone who has left New York over the last few days, because of the rate of the number of cases, you may have been exposed before you left New York,” she said.

Health officials are now calling on anyone leaving the New York metro area to self-quarantine for 14 days in order to stop the spread of the deadly virus.

The ADPH COVID-19 dashboard has added a tab that shows where all the testing sites are if anyone is looking for the one closest to them.

So, uh, this is an interesting abuse of power:

Nevada Governor Bans Use of Malaria Drugs to Treat Coronavirus

quote:
Nevada’s governor on Tuesday banned the use of anti-malaria drugs chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus patients.

Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak’s executive order came after President Trump touted the medication as holding promise for combating the illness.

Sisolak said there was no consensus among experts or Nevada doctors that the drugs can treat people with COVID-19.

Local news article:

Sisolak signs restriction order for 2 drugs

quote:
The governor’s order prohibits the prescribing and dispensing chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for a COVID-19 diagnosis, requires the appropriate prescription coding for their “legitimate medical purposes,” and limits prescriptions to a 30-day supply.

“At this point in time, there is no known cure for COVID-19 and we must not withhold these drugs from those who need them,” the governor said in a statement. “The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home for Nevada, not to stockpile these drugs.”

Part of the reason is what he said in your last quote. Like toilet paper, people have started stockpiling these drugs. In turn, people who depend upon those drugs to treat their current conditions are having trouble getting their prescriptions filled. As examples: LINK LINK

That means long-term closure, imo. Hopefully, they have a plan for distance learning that will work not only in the Mountainbrooks of the state but also the Wilcox Counties.

I would guess the the people on Gilligan's Island went thru the two rolls of TP on that boat pretty quickly but they had lots of leaves and the lagoon.

Has there been any identification of where these cases originate? Is this related to UAB, some other event/location within the County, or do we think it's simply a function of population density?
