I’d just like some continuity. I guess that’s the plus for Locks.

Daboll was the first one and done OC under Saban since the 07-08 season.

But as far as Daboll goes, I think that he just didn't dig the college thing as much as the NFL. Also, as much as we all laugh about it, Saban's tendency to humiliate his assistants on the sidelines is a turn off to some coaches. It was with Kiffin, and I think that it was with Daboll.

eta: I don't really count Sarkisian as a "one and done" since he was never really our OC IMO.

Makes it worse when the coordinator knows he has a better QB riding the pine that the HC won't start, at the same time the HC is complaining about the offense.

is this true, or just conjecture?

I know Boz said it, and I trust his info. If it is true, then yes, that did make it worse. Saban was kind of in a precarious situation there, however he shouldn't have berated Daboll for it.

Not sure it has anything to do with him leaving, but don't see how it's not true.

How would you feel in that scenario?

How would I feel about my boss berating me publicly for failure when he didn't allow me to use all of my resources? You tell me.

No, I was not. What's up with the passive aggressive posts, guy?
