I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the gameday atmosphere at the Army game. It's not horrible.

ESPN has been reporting all day that Tennessee has 44 guys out because they either tested positive or they were traced. So their scrimmage has been canceled today. All have to quarantine for 14 days. Not sure how that works with the season coming up. ESPN was talking about the possibilities that certain games may have to be forfeited.

I'd quit paying attention to anything ESPN says.

Betcha most if not all are back practicing in a couple of days.

Actually it was Pruitt who said that all had to be quarantined. What's most confusing to me is that most of the guys are not testing positive but have to quarantine because of trace contacting. How long is that? Would the guys guilty by association have to sit out the entire 14 days?

Probably have to be quarantined until they get a test and it comes back negative for the virus.

I hadn't thought that much about it. But I hope our guys don't get ambushed like this near kickoff.

I think your being kind.

I just think it would be crazy to test players for that weekend game so late that there isn't enough time to retest. Otherwise, how do you separate the positive test from guys that are simply guilty through trace contacting? I mean that's the difference between losing a player or two as opposed to 44. Who could overcome that?

It was kinda nice watching Army ram that wishbone right up MTSU's arse. Army came ready to play. MTSU looked lost most of the game.

I miss those old Oklahoma-Nebraska games. Smash mouth is an understatement. Both teams had high quality players running a option oriented offense. It was great

I'm glad Army won, but it was a product of limited MTSU practices to prep their O game plan and prepare for an option team outside of watching film.

There will be multiple games won and lost due to Cv 19 effects on personnel and prep

I was talking about the games being forfeited part. They’ll fast test them and have them back in a day or two.

Same. They both would score 70 and even 80 points against the big 8 scrubs. Beautiful football for sure.
