Pass happy scrimmage, but anyone know how the RBs are looking?

I mentioned it before but Bo got dinged but looked fine until then, emmons and Harris are solid. Jacobs looked outstanding broke off a few nice runs. No issues that I see other than Bo getting hurt a lot.

Besides Bo, which of the RBs looks biggest? Who looks smallest?

Looks like we hit big with Jacobs. I believe he was only a qb before?

Pretty sure Jacobs was always a RB. Harris played a lot of QB, iirc

I'd say Bo, Harris, while emmons and Jacobs may be the same weight but Emmons and him are similar height. In fact Jacobs may be alittle smaller. To answer the other question Jacobs did play some qb. And yeah Jacobs was totally unknown and burns hawked him down.

I watched the film. Very quick feet, shifty, and good speed as well. Great story with his recruitment and Bama looking at him very close to signing day.

How did the Oline 1 look against Dline 1. Specially the right side of the Oline.

How has Barnett sounded the most accurate? They didn't provide any stats.

Travis Reir and other writers have said that Barnett is the most accurate passer.

Saban said the new RT Williams has been pretty solid. RG is still up for grabs between Bozeman and Taylor. If it wasn't was Taylor's weight problem and possible suspension for the 1st game, he would have the RG spot locked up.

as he should. dude is huge and experienced. he should be our starting RG if he gets all his shite together. I'm a big believer in the theory that seniors play better, especially on the OL. I think if Shank plays the whole season he could be second team All-SEC.

I also think we will see some of these guards used as fullbacks in a goal line package much like we saw with Robinson and Reed in the playoffs. The most popular defense in short yardage situations is a double A-gap blitz. Having to junbo blockers at fullback is the best counter to that defense that i've seen. We may not have a Robinson and a Reed to put back there, but we've got a ton of guards.

I still remember how much shite I got for saying I rated him highly and that we should sign him.

Posters didn't want him because he was a three star and they were more worried about rankings then actual talent.

He had 5-star film. They didn't care. Said he was slow, his film was altered and he didn't play against real talent.

I guess I get the last laugh. I just wish this forum had a good thread search function lol.

This board is so much better when it focuses on OUR team. Not calling you out YStar, just a general observation.

I thought the OL played well. Jonah handles the edge well. They got him a few times with a spin but hell he looks like he has played a year or two already. Our Def is nasty though so it's a tough situation they get put in. However, I think they blocked well, I think they will do well against the likes LSU and Arkansas.

We need them to do well against Ole Miss and Tennessee

Right I was just generalizing. I don't feel like they would do poor against anyone with proper preparation. If there is a better rusher than Williams out there for them to practice on we need to recruit them lol. Speed rushers are just that, difficult to stop but with the right prep they should be ok.

How did the RB's do picking up blocks in passing downs? That is gonna be key for a new QB.

This is a forum not the locker room. Nothing we say here actually affects anything and unless you're the "tidefan" type, I don't see whats so wrong with having differences or speaking up when you had to take shite for a valid opinion.

I agree with you. I didn't see the comments but nothing wrong with gloating a little if they gave you shite.

Speak up? Absolutely. Just avoid getting personal. If we are all tailgating we can get personal with the UT fans. ;-)
