Yes. Miami went on to beat Appalachian State by two the following week.
They lost to Florida State last year.

They were not a good football team.
Alabama is going to have to gel at some spots. Offensive line being one. This could be a big deal, at least initially. Especially going to Austin week two to face a guy who will throw the kitchen sink at the defense and will get points.
And Golding is a known commodity at this point. The strengths are the strengths, the weaknesses are the weaknesses. I just think, game one, there are some things that will have to be worked out.

I'll be pretty conservative and say:
Bama - 48
Utah St - 21
They are a pretty good team with a lot of guys back and a W already this season.
