I mean, terrible pick but why are we not giving this unit a chance? Don’t put him in 3rd and 14. Let them actually run offense instead of running into a loaded front twice with a backup OL.

FYI, as good as LSU has been on offense, their defense is an absolute mess.

That’s really weird with the returning defense they have. Maybe the offense really does correlate more than some day

It's the only explanation I can think of. With their roster and whole staff back it makes no sense for them to be this bad against offenses like Vanderbilt.
Teams are throwing it around on them and they have 3 legit 1st-2nd round picks on the DB.

Maybe not. But the play calls were pretty bad. Two basic gives in very middle, putting Mac in 3rd & long. Need to keep the playbook open and keep the defense guessing.

Don’t they still have their best returning defensive lineman? Obviously losing white is a big loss but they were pretty solid without him last year when we played. They have almost the same secondary subbing in greedy williams for stingley who has been their best corner so far.

I’m really shocked this year by lack of push from our D-Line.. I figured we would have more QBs on their backs.
