Yeah, Finnerty looked especially good on Friday.

Finnerty has looked good. Playing within his range and not forcing a 90+ MPH fastball.

Throwing like Greg Maddux?

Harry Doyle: In case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven't, BAMA have managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.

Yep - he was in a real groove. Incredible ball to strike ratio and his strikes were all moving and spotted.

Good win, gotta win tomorrow too because I don't think UNA will win many games this year. This is one of their first years in division 1.
Big series in Mobile this weekend. USA is typically pretty good. They took one from #14 Clemson this year and swept TN Tech who is oftentimes a solid minor conference team.

Nice shutout win! Heard Eli talking about Acuña Jr from my favorite pro team because somebody wearing his jersey caught a foul. I've been looking forward to the series in Mobile, since it's the only game I'm going to probably (the Friday one) cause only an hour away unlike UA.
