Observations from last night

- Bramblett was great again. I feel sorry for him that we can't score more.
- That 6th inning killed us. Vincent had the throwing error and then we strike a guy out on a ball in the dirt and he gets to first and a run scores.
- Cobie Vance is a little ball hog out there. He will catch any popup or fly ball near him. I think sometimes though, Taylor needs to call him off. It's a much easier play for Taylor to make sometimes.
- Overall not enough offense. Cody Henry needs to get going. He was so good last year with pitch section and this year he is chasing stuff in the dirt.

Pretty much sums up everything since 2010.

Bramblett had 9 Ks last night.

Ridiculous for a pitcher to have those numbers and Bama not win. Was the same shite when Turnbull was here.

We are the worst hitting team in the SEC. Hands down.

Gaspard is done after this season. Only certain number of seasons that can go like this until change is finally needed.

I don't think Battle will fire Gaspard.

You don't build that new stadium and let a proven mediocre coach keep on with this sh*t. He gone.

I do. Alabama has traditionally been a top tier SEC program and with the stadium upgrade, they'll be pressure to get us back there.

Agreed. Gaspard had his chance and then some. There has been no change to the way the program has run. Dax and Andy are great guys but they have no drive to become head coaches, hence they are ok with just being along for the ride.

Its over. You can argue Gaspard had a lot of disadvantages and youd be right BUT great coaches will overcome those. He just is not one.

Battle was going to keep Grant until everyone started raising hell. It's going to take a lot of pressure from boosters for him to make a change. Hopefully,Bryant Jr will want a change.

Don't know if he'd be willing to leave the majors, but he'd be my top choice.

Would be on my list, but wish he had some college coaching experience. Or at least managerial experience somewhere. He's only been a hitting coach in the minors and majors.

Still believe we need to make someone like Dan McDonnell say no.

We actually won the third game 2-1.

Therein lies the problem. He does just well enough to keep his job, but can't take them to the next level. I'm afraid that we're going to have to implode to get the immediate attention of the alum and administration...but it would be worth it in the long run.
