3-3 in the bottom of the 6th

Alabama can't get the ball out of the infield, but Missouri isn't executing.

Play the loser of Vanderbilt-Texas A&M.

If we get a win over the loser of that game, I think we get in. The selection committee will use our situation as a reason for a lackluster record.

Winning tomorrow is unlikely, but who knows. aTm/Vanderbilt are going to throw everything they have tonight in order to win. Most see it as a game that will determine a national seed. That might help us.

I wasn't aware that the rules changed and the winner of tomorrow's game only has to win one on Saturday. If we do somehow find a way to win, I like our chances Saturday. Maybe the fans in Hoover will finally have a reason to come to the park if we can make it happen.

I pull for the guys to win as much as y'all but I have to ask myself and all of you too: is another year of squeaking into the SEC tourney, then squeaking into a regional only to be eliminated worth another season of Gaspard??

I want us to win, period. I don't want our season to end this week.

Gaspard will keep his job regardless of what happens tomorrow. I want to make a regional because this is the type team that can make some noise. Sure, it's been a rough year, but we were a couple of plays away from beating aTm. There's no reason to believe that we can't compete with and beat Vandy with the way we've played over the last two weeks.

Maybe this embarrassment will be enough to get rid of Gaspard once and for all.

2016, new stadium...what have we seen in the last six years that excites us about next year? Anything?

We bring a lot back, and will win more games but Gaspard will continue to Gaspard.

It a not so surprising development, Alabama won't be making the post season for the second time in six seasons under Gaspard. This is according to the lastest regional projections now that host sites have been revealed.

The last the four seasons we've been 21-34 with no tournament(2012), eliminated by Troy(2013), eliminated by Kennesaw State(2014), and left out again. I don't understand the excuses.

2011, we were 35-28. Eliminated after two losses to FSU.

Again, someone explain to me why we're giving him another year. Sewell Thomas wasn't so bad the last five years that we shouldn't have had more success. I just don't get it.

2012 Tallahassee Regional - Alabama 8 Troy 9

Bama led 8-5 going into the bottom of the 9th.

Finish the season 35-28

He has only finished higher than fourth in the west once in six years. The last four years, it's sixth, fifth, fifth, and sixth.

Average record over six years: 34-28, which is about right. The 42 wins in year one cross out the bad seasons and what you have left is very much average.

And just because the season is over and I won't care much after a few days, Kilcrease is the only reason we haven't already fired him. If we don't make that run in his first year, he has absolutely no leg to stand on.

Who are some realistic candidates that Alabama would look to and would the university actually look to make a change or are they content with the program as is?

Gaspard is coming back. He's already had his post-season sit down with the AD. He will get next year in the new park to turn it around. Some solid pieces back a good recruiting class to help. We shall see.
