If UGA going on a 27-0 run and regaining the lead isn’t disconcerting, then I’m not sure what disconcerting is

I’m beyond happy with the first half. Wish we had some less cutesy calls there at the end but the scheme was good and the execution was incredibly clean.

The second half drove me up a wall, it very much felt like the opposite of 2018 UGA in that stadium. We were trying to hold off the comeback and it was clear that they had started to wear us out, the momentum was all on their side.

This is very much a game where Saban would’ve been pissed in the press conference and drilling whatever mistakes or issues he saw on tape over the next few weeks. We can be happy we won but we shouldn’t be handwaving that second half.

Our secondary has a lot of growing up to do still and thankfully last nights win puts us in a great position to let them to before the expanded playoff. That was a huge win for the resume

I love the win.

Went conservative in the 2nd on offense. Milroe run should have been replaced with handoffs, UGA decided it was stop Milroe at all costs. Staff should have seen that. No big though. We won and our young secondary learned a lot and made a huge play to win.

Outside of Vandy and Mercer I don’t see any cupcakes.

Vandy beat VT (who would have beaten Miami if the refs hadn't screwed them) and took Missouri to 2 OTs on the road.

Georgia hadn’t given up a touchdown this season. We got 5 on them. Thats pretty damn noteworthy.

Jumping out to a big lead actually caused some unexpected game plan issues. How many times is a top 2 team in the country going to be going all 4 downs starting with 10 minutes left in the second? They have a very good offense and elite players, and have a say in things too.

Are there things to work on? For sure. Just don’t think we were prepared to have to defend 4 downs for 3/4 of the game and the play calling got disjointed. That said I don’t think any team we play is going to have the roster that Georgia does and essentially play video game football.

Couple that with the offense going ultra conservative and the game got too tight.

Lots to build on, still a great win.
