You've obviously gotten stuff wrong, possibly could have presented info better in the past, etc, but, your booster access through family ties is no doubt very real.
Not sure why that bothers some.
I have an admin job at a major SEC program and work extensively with tier 1 boosters for that program's athletic dept. The AD and I are close acquaintances. I hear all sorts of things about the football program. And, guess what... sometimes info changes, first reports were exaggerated/inaccurate, or flat out wrong. It doesn't change what I was told. Just a byproduct of the rumor mill telephone game and speculation even from those closest to the organization.
Don't sweat it Boz. But, if you do express it as fact before it is confirmed, this is what happens.

Were you also thinking about how you "guaranteed" Alec Morris was the starter a few years ago and was a "master" of the offense? 
And you can deny the other claims but you know damn well you said them.

I didn’t say any of them. I recall saying Alec Morris was about as average as average can be but had a very good grasp on the offense he wasn’t stupid just not a gifted athlete. There is a difference.

Everything I post is “I’ve heard” this or this. Unless I’m physically there which, I’m good about posting. Nithibg should ever be taken as fact and yes stuff is incredibly fluid. Good post and thanks.

I understand why you're defending yourself, but really there isn't any point in engaging folks abut this. Just keeping doing what you do and if people don't believe they can move on and not worry about it. Don't even sweat these folks
