Look im all for getting rid of BooB, but at no point in Goldings tenure have we ever been able to lean on our defense and trust them to get a stop.
Against TN that was obvious. Against LSU, Bryce drove down the field and scored what should've been the game winning TD. But then we allowed LSU to quickly score another TD, and then Bryce has to drive down again and get in FG position. Then our offense gets a TD in OT which should've won the game - except our defense allows LSU to score a TD on one play and then get the 2pc.
In 2020, we had an exceptional offense, but our defense almost cost us the season vs. Florida.
Not to mention Golding's soft defenses are terrible at creating turnovers.
It almost doesn't matter what offense we have. Golding's defense is a HUGE liability, and really just makes watching Alabama not fun at all. Remember what it was like to be excited to see what the defense could do?
Georgia vs. TN just showed what an absolute clown Golding is.

When Bryce plays backyard football and somehow eventually gets us the lead, how many times has the Golding defense allowed a scoring drive on the very next possession? Stopping someone in that scenario is now the rare exception instead of the other way around. Now in a close game, if we punt it's like we're just giving the opponent points.
Golding should be the first one out the door...and he should be holding the door for BOB right behind him.

True for me. Sure, they’ve played well at times under Golding, but I haven’t been confident in our defense since 2017. Coincidentally, that was Pruitt’s last season at Alabama.

After watching Saban's press conference today, I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a massive turnover on the staff this offseason. And not just the coordinators.

I was a Golding supporter, but to watch this season play out and see this defense not be able to get stops or create turnovers is sickening. We have less than 5 ints on the season!!!! How is that even possible??

Gotta think Saban will actually hire someone Early December to mid December instead of Jan/Feb. So that's a plus for us.

CNS still not hinting at Golding's imminent departure. WTF?? He is worse than BOB since at least Bryce can create and overcome BOB's stupid arse.
