Im not quite sure I'm understanding the 9 hole golf course. Where do we play as our home course now? Is the 9 hole course just a practice course?

So the other thing is, as you add to the height of the arena, the size of the arena, that significantly drives the costs up, which also is going to get passed along to the fans.

I just fundamentally disagree with him on this. I'd rather pay an extra $20 for a ticket every time I go to a game than not be able to go at all because it's literally impossible to get a ticket at any price.

From the OP:
quote:

Alabama Athletics has formally proposed moving forward with phase II of The Crimson Standard Initiative, which includes a new competition arena for basketball and gymnastics as well as a practice facility for the golf programs... The nine-hole golf course, east of the golf house, would offer multiple routing options for on-course practice.

FAQ on the new arena
quote:

How can I get season tickets in the new arena (men's basketball, women's basketball and/or gymnastics)?

We are early in the planning process and as soon as details are available, we will contact season ticketholders with seating plan information. Seat priority will be determined by Tide Totals priority points and associated rank, which takes into consideration TIDE PRIDE longevity and giving to the Crimson Tide Foundation.

If you are interested in being contacted about premium seating options in the new arena, please contact us. Note that we do not currently have finalized details regarding premium seating opportunities. You will receive follow-up communication once premium seating offerings become available (spring of 2023).

Renderings are conceptual and subject to change. All projects are subject to approval of the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees and dependent upon fundraising success.
