If you can get in to town Friday afternoon, go to Chuck’s around five, get an old fashion and the filet, one of the best steaks in Ttown. After, go to any of the bars around downtown and ya’ll will enjoy it. The rooftop bars are cool but the bar above SoCal overlooks downtown which also a cool vibe to it.

Was at one tent and some LSU fan was about to push another LSU fan. He told the guy “You sure are f***** up tonight. Here I am liking this Bama fan and ready to fight you!”
It’s like that sobered them both up and after that everything was fine and we all just went back to drinking haha.

Heat pizza downtown. Get the Thai chicken.
Innisfree downtown. Get the Irish gold chicken fingers and pub fries

YEARS ago I remember walking around on gameday near the stadium and there was a house that was selling knockoff yellowhammers to go. couldn't tell you anything else about the situation but does anyone recall that or if it is/was an actual "thing"? I don't think it was just some dudes sayin "hey here take this", it seemed like a legit alternative if you didn't want to wait in line or fight the crowds at galettes.
