The Game will not be called NCAA Football anymore.

It will now be EASports College Football

EA is trash, but I'll play the shite out of this. No reason for this game to be bad after years upon years of waiting.

I always thought they didn't need to release an NCAA game annually. Give it time to develop and focus on the small stuff fans wanted (crowd noise, better physics, better gamemodes, etc..).

Hopefully this means the return of an NCAAB game. I still own College Basketball 2k8, which is the GOAT

I think the game will actually be good. They have had a LOT of time to plan on what they want in the game. And it will be a true next gen game

I don’t think they really care about that. They know enough people will still buy their games every year.

I’m glad they have brought this game back. I’m already convinced into buying one of these new consoles for it. But it’s very possible, other than graphics and the playoffs, they won’t make any other huge improvements for this game compared to NCAA 14. They know this game is in high demand and plenty of people will buy it regardless.

They literally said in the article that they are using NCAA 14 as a base point and are going to expand it from that. The people who made NCAA actually give a frick unlike madden.

Yeah but how much are they going to expand from that is what I’m saying

It’s still EA which is why I don’t have a lot of faith

For the people who want NCAA Basketball to return, I have a theory....

Ok so this is 99% a stretch and just me wanting the game back badly but here’s something I noticed. Remember the old NCAA Football twitter account named @EANCAAFootball that teased a game like 5 years ago with the heartbeat tweet and all that? Well, that account isn’t being used anymore. They made a brand new one named @EASPORTSCollege. The fact that they made a brand new account when they already had one and didn’t include the word football in their @ makes me think this account will be for NCAA Football PLUS whatever other college related games they make whether that be college basketball or college baseball. I doubt baseball will ever come back just bc the demand isn’t high but college basketball probably will eventually. I think they’ll release the CFB game first, see how successful it'll be, and then they’ll tweet something from that same account shortly after announcing a college basketball game. That way you’re using the hype and the followers gained from the college football game to promote your new basketball game, which will then lead to a successful launch and continuation of that series.
