actually it only became apparent tonight.
Even with all you said, before last night Alabama was still favored against everyone with their lone loss coming off a craptastic performance in an intense environment, it was even a "better loss" than 11.05.12. And it really seems like a coin flip for a selection committee to decide against an Iron Bowl rematch in the semis. With what has transpired, though, probably hurt Alabama or a team like us in the future, getting the nod after a late season loss.

I'm just glad Alabama didn't make it to the national championship game. If they'd won it, the n cool: Alabama won with a pretty average team by previous standards. If they lost, ...
