THIS!! I'm not really referring to their play as a unit. To me, I'm seeing too many lineman getting absolutely destroyed on both sides of the ball. Conditioning seems to be fine but strength is way down the ladder from previous lines. We used to do the manhandling, now it's us getting manhandled! I know I'm not the only one seeing this???

cns alluded to just this in thursday show. DL OL not winning

He was very complimentary of Byron Young Hellams toto Dallas brooks but only praised Will Anderson when put in corner by question

I’m not trying to be a dick, but when have they ever looked for the ball in sabans era? I’m starting to think some of y’all are just bitching to bitch

That or people just have no fricking idea what they’re watching on the screen

most INT have comre thr safeties in saban era and current starters cant anticipate and not fast enough to be in position

My favorite INT is HaHA against Notre Dame .. classic

Want to start by saying I'm not making any excuses for the coverage calls this year. They have been borderline criminal at times.

But with regard to the DL situation I wonder if they are throwing things against the wall due to lack of personnel?

I mean you have a TF Oatis playing down there hurt, Eboigbe who was supposed to be the lead dog possibly retired, Dale was dinged for a couple games and a bunch of other guys who wouldn't have made the two deep on the Pruitt/Smart defenses.

Have to wonder if you see them running cheetah and flexing Anderson inside because they don't think the next group is ready for the spotlight?

Latu- I saw on reply there’s multiple plays he’s definitely not running hard.

Name a receiver. I see lots of lazy routes making it easy for opposing DB.

It’s the entire offensive line. That’s been the difference in our offense during the Bryce era. The oline is average to above average. We used to be great.

What we don’t know is how injured some of these players are. We only learn about that post season unless it’s an egregious injury.
Latu was hurt earlier and has looked slow since his comeback.

Agreed but I doubt the entire oline is dealing with injuries that are impacting their game for the last 2 years. We are either doing a bad job recruiting or a bad job developing them. Both are probably true. Up until last year we have always had a freshman step up at RT or LT.

Will Anderson packs the stat sheet against the ULM's and Vandy's then disappears against the Tennessee's and LSU's. Not hating on the guy. He has flashes of dominance for sure and will likely do well in the NFL but I haven't been impressed with his body of work this year.

Will has played well in every game with what he’s been given. He’s been taken out of his specialty(pass rushing) by bad coaching and at times bad referees. He’s been tackled more than any QB in the country. Lol
