Dude is taking up for his son, ok, but you gotta have closed ears and thick skin if you wanna watch your QB son in enemy territory. Who knows what happen before? If they were jawing directly at him, it’s justified in my book.

I’m sorry, but if I was Milroe’s dad, I would defend him too. Was he just supposed to sit there and listen to Tennessee fans talk shite about his own son?

Yes.

Ignore it. I also don't think it's a good idea for the parents of the starting QB to wear their son's jersey to the game, especially a road game. You're just asking for someone to intentionally try to piss you off.

This probably happened at 20 different spots in the stadium yesterday, not going to fault a father for defending his son. I'm always skeptical of videos because it's hard to get the whole context of the situation.

Defend him from what? Mean words? Did someone say he sucks?

If you're going to sit in the crowd in an 100,000 seat SEC stadium with your son as the starting QB for the opposing team, you're going to have to have some thick skin - especially if you want to advertise that you might be his parent by wearing a jersey.

I can't hardly imagine a scenario in which this reaction is appropriate behavior for a reasonable, level-headed adult.

Saban mentioned his behavior as one of the reasons he retired. Remember him talking about players throwing their helmets after the Rose Bowl? That was Milroe specifically. He had to be benched after Texas in large part because he threw such a fit in practice. He screamed "give me the Heisman" after the Iron Bowl. He has a persona he uses with the media and he says the right things in interviews, but there's a fair amount of evidence that he's a major diva.

BINGO!

He's reacting to the millions$ being lost as Milroe is further exposed. They need to find another position for him to utilize his athleticism.
