What happened in this game is basically how Kentucky had a full-on meltdown in the late stages of their tourney loss. I don't agree with just not playing Sears in the 2nd half unless he was dealing with some minor injury that they don't want to turn major. The reason teams that go far in the tourney tend to have experienced guards is because they don't get baited into some of the silliness that let LSU hang around instead of having the time squeezed on them harder. We're lucky that LSU is not very good. A better team could have sent us into a full-on spiral the way Holloway and Philon were playing in the last few minutes combined with our iffy FT shooting.

Coach just said on radio we started players in second half who played best in the first. And stuck with who we thought gave us the best chance to win.
