Major Applewhite was a Texas HS legend. He will be a good recruiter for Ark St.

Butch might piece together a pretty damn decent staff down there in Jonesboro.

I've enjoyed watching Butch's coaching/encouragement on the sidelines. He'll be missed.

He gets 2 or 3 good years at Ark.St, he'll be getting another decent power 5 opportunity.

With Saban referring to him as an Intern last year; this could mean he was not...but probably a token amount just to provide benefits? BUT, I surely don't know for sure

Saban is on WJOX right now and was asked about Butch. He mentioned that CBJ is loved by players and staff and will continue to be involved as much as possible so I guess the morning coffee will flow and windshields will be 5* fresh

Mag,

It was an article posted after the season where Saban went on a rant tearing the coaches new arse, making changes on both side of ball. I think it was after Locksley left.
