The only advantage I can see is they don't know Sark's tendencies.

Nowhere in that whole thread, or any thread, did I or have I ever said....

"Lane Kiffin was the only reason Bama was any good"

You may not be intelligent enough to understand the difference, but I notice that you didn't take the bet.

It would have been a lot more clever had you said "I'll stomp your arse"

How much can be installed in a week?

Not a question of installing new stuff. Like was already mentioned...more about tendencies. One big unknown now for Clemson now is what to expect on first downs. Also, are we actually going to target Stewart and Ridley this time? How much read option will we run? Is Bo gonna carry it 25 times? They have no way of knowing.

Probably a good advantage that Sark will be more likely to execute the game plan that Saban wants. Not to say that Kiffin would not, but Sark damn sure will.

There is no advantage to this other than we perhaps avoid a giant disadvantage which was Kiffin half-assing it or whatever the reason for the Washington performance was.

We're going to run the same stuff, and we'll probably run very similar tendency stuff (at least as we did earlier in the year).

Jalen is going to have to play better and we are going to have to block better. But hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the dick halfway through a drive or when we have the ball at midfield multiple times like we did Saturday.

Growing up in rural Alabama I heard an occasional "I'll stomp a mudhole in his arse"

That and we might have playcalling that actually plays to our strengths.

Kiffin was a slave for trying to break tendencies instead of having discipline to commit to what was working for us.

And, with a true freshman QB, sometimes it's better to pound strengths knowing it might not work every play than to play tricky dick and then look up in the 4th quarter and realize you've underutilized your strengths.

Who knows. We'll all find out.

NOT REALLY, Hurts can't throw consistently. nothing changes. they stop the run and force him to throw the ball.

Question:

If you're a DC, how do you stop the run, pass and QB runs at the same time without giving up yards over the middle?

Your best shot is to have really good corners who you can put on an island, box in Hurts with a solid D-line and LB's and hope they can tackle the backs one on one.

Which is exactly what LSU and Washington did (Washington with aid from our offensive gameplan not exploiting their inability to tackle one-on-one).

Sark had been game planning for either Clemson or tOSU since the SEC title game. He will be more than ready.

I'm so happy. We will try to control the clock this year. And let that D make plays. I'm ready to win a championship.

Gameplanning and calling plays in the heat of battle in the National Title game are two totally different things.

I hope he's ready and does well, but I'm not expecting us to magically be flawless. I just hope we give Jalen a shot to be successful, make Clemson prove they can stuff our backs and don't give them easy short fields.

I don't think it will be worse than the last game.

All true but this isn't Sark's first rodeo either. Clemson is not complex. Sark should have no problem determining what play to call.
