Isn't that a stepdown for her?

Said it in the other thread, but I don’t think she voluntarily downgraded jobs. Rumors that she was looking at Providence and ending up at USF leads me to believe she was told to find a new job which leads me to believe we have someone in mind

If history repeats itself, he'll go after a solid up and coming HC. Hopefully someone with an exciting brand of basketball and can sell it better.

Overall I feel like Byrne has done well with the hires he has been tasked with, but reality of the situation is Bama will be a stepping stone if the coach is halfway decent. Bama might surprise me and put some money into women's basketball, but I doubt it. We get a young up and comer in and the coach makes a run or two, he/she will be gone to greener pastures.
On a side note, I really hope some type of legislation is adopted or the BIG 10 and SEC tell the NCAA to suck it and they do something to dial it back with the wild wild west of college athletics. I really feel like limiting the transfers would almost get us back to reality.

Not many places are. It doesn’t make money. But we are a huge brand with a lot of out of state interest. If you have a decent coach that can get players to the wnba where they’re making 300k minimum now then things could take off
