If Gene Stallings is your standard for class then you seriously need to reevaluate things. That's like Jeff Bezos being your standard for wealth or Usain Bolt being your standard for fast. Pretty much everyone is going to disappoint you in comparison.

This is the reason why he went to Thailand as soon as he was fired..

We dont want to run a texas tech style offense where you never run the ball.

Plenty of air raid disciples have a heavy run emphasis.

Do we really want, or need, this type of garbage associated with a new hire, if he gets the job ?

Lol, dude is guaranteed for five years. He gets an paycheck every two weeks? He is taking a break in Thailand spending time with his girlfriend in an exotic place.

How is that garbage?

ETA: I need to quit multi-tasking and read the whole damn thread first. Imma Rookie.

Feel free to educate me. Other than the Langham ordeal, I'm obviously naive as to anything casting him in a bad light.

I think you misread the intention of his quote. I took it as it would be hard to find anyone as classy as Gene Stallings, so you would be disappointed in them based on that comparison.

You are correct. My interpretation of his post was wrong.

Kingsbury doesn’t seem like a guy who fit with the Saban grind.

Neither did Kiffin. Not a bad three years (minus the shite show at the end of 2016).

I have a feeling all of you guys saying, “I hope not,” also didn’t want Kiffin when he was hired or Sark when he was hired. Old school ground and pound doesn’t work anymore

I get the feeling a lot of people don’t understand how run oriented the offenses that developed at Baylor and Texas Tech have become. They’ve influenced a lot of what is being run across major college football.

Kliff is the same case as BOB. Just looks younger. His offense isnt innovative anymore. Would be bad hire imo

I can't stand the waiting game Bama fans are having to play right now.. On top of that you have the media throwing out potential candidates left and right hoping the one they say is right. Most of the time they are wrong and just wanted to be the first to announce a name just incase it happens. Kingsbury claims that he wants to take a break from coaching, but if we believed what coaches say Nick Saban wouldn't be our coach lol.
