Penalties can be misleading. Aggression penalties can be acceptable if the team always plays with their hair on fire. 2016 Alabama D comes to mind.
It's the procedural and frustration penalties that will kill you. That's poor coaching and lack of preparation.

Probably. It’s just funny. Don’t care
Enough to go on another team’s board to weigh in. Alabama will be trolled relentlessly on the rant if things go south.

It’s not just the last three years. If you go back to Fresno State in 2021, the pattern continues. In fact, some programs actually showed better discipline both before and after CKD's tenure, which makes questioning the emphasis on discipline entirely fair.

I think Byrne saw KDB’s record and didn’t care about anything else.

To be fair, penalties became a serious problem under Saban as well. Contrary to what outsiders think, Alabama has consistently been one of the most penalized teams in the country while their opponents were consistently among the least penalized. It got exponentially worse there at the end of Saban's reign though and Deboer has shown no progress on that front.

If you listen for another 3 minutes you will have the answer to why everything changed at half time in the UGA game last year. Kirby and company figured out the Bama D and adjusted. Apparently the D scheme changes very little no matter the offense they're playing.
I don't doubt this is true one bit but UGA converting 7 (I believe) 4th downs in the second half didn't help matters with this shite D either. If he had taken a more conservative approach and punted, Kane would have looked like a defensive wizard (the only time). Although didn't Beck toss multiple INTs as well? Seems like he was the reason UGA kept stuttering offensively in the first half.
THIS is the year I think UGA will 100% control/domainte the entire game given the fact that Stockton is a running QB and the game is in Athens. Road games and mobile QBs seem to be Kane's Achilles' heel. But UGA is kind of an enigma this year. They took a step back last year losing to Bama/OM and nearly being upset by Tech. But with Beck out of the picture, this could be a completely different team compared to last season.

I don't see it. You guys have stolen some of that Jordan Hare Voodoo from them $%*@!! in Auburn and hexed us. You're in our heads and I would not be surprised one iota if Bama walked into Athens and we looked like we have never seen a football.

That may be the only play I give him a pass on.
I won't. You're supposed to use film study to understand how they are trying to leverage your linebackers.
When he sent a CB blitz there us basically showed us all he didn't in fact know everything and he easily manipulated with eyes candy (hence why he's defense and the players cave with the quickness anytime we face a team who uses it).
