That was tough. Not much worse than losing the national title on the last play of the game.

However, Clemson just made plays down the stretch. The throws and catches on the last 2 drives were just unworldly. Just have to tip your cap.

It stings, and it really stung walking out of that stadium last night, but we lost to a team who made 1 or 2 more plays than we did. That happens sometimes. Last year we made 1 or 2 more plays, this year it was them.

Helluva season, had a blast, really not too down in the dumps about it.

PS - Tampas logistics were embarrassing. That place better not get another one of these.

Don't even get me started on that. The initial line to get in the stadium was a complete disaster and the access to the parking lots rivaled that of a federal prison. Will never go back there again for a big game.

That place has hosted Super Bowls. How the hell were they that unprepared for simple security checks?

That is what we were saying. Completely unprepared.

The craziest thing was the total lack of event people around. No police, no staff, no contract event people, nothing.

It was incredible. We were gassed and yet still those plays had to be pinpoint, and they were. It's not like they didn't earn it. Roll damn Tide

The catch by Leggett was just unfair. Perfect coverage, perfect throw, incredible body contortion and catch.

That catch basically won them they game IMHO.

They broke my moms and GF's Pom poms for god sakes and how about the cattle line to get through "security ".

Absolutely that's the one that sticks out the most. Obviously Williams had some crazy grabs, too. And the 12 year old Renfrow is just a Bama killer.

Yep. They just made more plays than us.

Honestly, it sucked, but I wasn't even mad. Disappointed, but those dudes earned and deserved it.

The stick rule was the dumbest rule I've ever seen. Tampa was awful

Again, that security line was the worst. No coordination whatsoever. The line was 200 yards long and when we had old Bama fans (who are awful fans to begin with) being complete curmudgeons whenever someone might've cut in line.

Yea, it was the worst.

Luckily all the Clemson fans were cool to deal with wading through. I've had tons of great experi3nces and zero bad ones with them the last 2 years, both pregame and post-game after they won and lost.

The Peach and Title Game we had totally awful drunk people next to us spilling beer and throwing up. Miserable.

Final random thought - that wind off the bay was cold as shite.

I'll be honest, I really expected more shite talking after the game from them. As we walked back to the car, hundreds of their fans were running from the bars/restaurants/tailgates towards the stadium. Mostly college aged kids. Not a single one tried to rub it in our face. Hats off to them. Wish our fans had made a bigger presence down there. It felt like Death Valley outside the stadium and in many parts of Tampa.

It got cold late in the game which made that walk back miserable.

Was an absolute circus.

Play of the game was Renfrow tackling Anderson on the fumble return. If he scores then it's ball game.

Yep - the last 2 games with them were the most cordial and respectful interaction between really passionate fanbases in the most tense of environments I've ever seen.

Both games were fun and I was happy for those folks.

Holding us to a FG there was the beginning of the end for us IMO. Clemson felt like they had dodged a major bullet.

Tampa parking was terrible and for that big of an event why are they not using people to keep the flow of traffic going.

Clemson fans were all pretty decent only some fans acting like they won the lottery was pretty funny.

Security lines near the c gate entrance was horrible, no one explaining the process. Why in the hell did they have one damn line feeding 8 tables? They should have had 8 different lines.

Cold as shite, I was in 334 and the wind in the second half. I was not completely prepared.

Sucks we lost, but as a CFB fan, you had to enjoy that game. Watson is one hell of a player and very classy. Really hoping he doesn't get drafted by the Browns.

Tampa as a venue was pretty terrible. I had to walk two miles to meet the Uber. Traffic was horrendous. Getting in to the game was a complete joke.

Having to go through one checkpoint just to scan the ticket was a great way to promote the ticket scammers. I heard a story of one of those guys that walked with buyers to the gate, got the cash, only for them to find out at the next point that their ticket was fake.

Sounds like Tampa was pretty shitty.

Hopefully whenever the CFP champ game rotates back to Florida it'll be in Miami next time.
