I stumbled upon this while reviewing videos of the game and the season. The ignorance from Mr. Bayless was so enormous that it was quite humorous.

You have to understand the context here. Skip Bayless has made a career out having a show where they disagree. Does he honestly believe that? No. Does he have to disagree with his co-host? Yep. Him and Shannon Sharpe disagree on almost everything. It is easier to get views with controversy than it is with an unified opinion.
