Sayin left when Saban did.

Sayin bounced as soon as the retirement announcement was made like Isaiah Bond.

Where did he glaze? He made a correct observation. It isn't like he is begging for Cochran like these guys begging for Cignetti as if he is better than Saban. We don't need Cochran we need a better S&C program and that isn't what we have gotten from Ballou

Why are we saying Cochran is the reason hurry up offenses whipped our arse. It’s about personnel and scheme more than anything. That isn’t Cochran’s fault.

With that being said….our issues now aren’t solely because “Ballou needs firing”.

Deboer didn't want Sayin.

I don’t think that’s likely. If it is, we’re doomed because the man got a blind man’s eye for quarterbacks.

Deboer has a type in qb, why is that surprising?

Because Sayin is a future NFL quarterback. He can execute all the throws necessary for this offense.

All of his WRs have portables out,

They got a bunch of small quick guys trying to find the next Waddle.
They mixed that with tall but slow guys with no ball skills and bad hands.
In total, they got a couple of 2 receivers with a whole lot of 3 and 4 receivers.

Early on, Saban stockpiled studs. Later on, he stockpiled mostly duds. I don’t know why.

Saban got old and left a lot of things up to his coaches in the recruiting game. Coach was the closer.
I think some of the coaches he had were lazy. But it did get a lot of 3 stars a Bama bump to 4 star with the Bama offer. And 4 stars bumped up to 5.

His evidence was

OL Andre Smith, William Vlachos and Mike Johnson

He forgot one of the biggest keys...Antoine Caldwell, an All American at center.

Crazy...Shula left Saban three guys who were or would become 1st team All Americans on the OL...Smith, Johnson, and Caldwell.

But an overlooked factor also is that their OL coaches under Saban were Joe Pendry and Jeff Stoutland. You can't underestimate their role.

Proctor and Roberts excel in schemes that work for them.
Really? Because I’m not sure I’ve seen Proctor excel at anything.

He’s slow on recognizing who to block, he gets no push and Indiana DL shot right through his back side gap running right and I’m not sure he even touched them at times. They made a point on analyzing that during the Rose Bowl.

He’s a pretty decent pass blocker when he knows which guy he’s supposed to block and won’t have to switch.

IMO, Proctor may be like Keith McCants from years ago and eat himself out of the league. If he thinks guys in the SEC are quick and fast, he's in for a rude awakening in the league. EVERYBODY is quick and fast.

Not saying he can't be successful in the NFL but if he's really serious about making it, he needs to hire a dietician and personal trainer and drop at least 30 lbs and work on his quickness and agility. He'll need to stay dedicated to it like his life depended on it.

Great advice, but i expect what will happen is he’s going to get a decent first contract on potential, after a year (if not before) get moved to guard. Get relegated to backup after 3 years (or less), maybe get a 2nd contract.

And be dead broke 10 years from now.
