If Saban’s ‘decline’ as you call it is not a call for him to retire and bring someone else in, what else is it? If we don’t replace a ‘declining’ and aging coach who’s apparently lost his edge, what’s the answer? Does Saban need to go to a coaching clinic and learn football again? What exactly are you suggesting the greatest coach in college football history do other than quit, since he’s ‘declining’? You don’t want him replaced, you say, but what does he need to do?

At what point is it in everyones interest to move on? I'm not suggesting it's now but I wonder when I project into the next 5 years.

Don't waste your time trying to have a real conversation with someone who thinks Bama should win every single championship every year, no matter how unrealistic it is

I don’t think Saban has lost it. I think his pool of assistant talent is at its lowest and I think he needs to let go of the defense some and let an up and coming DC retool it.

I still think the play is to tie BOoB and Drunk Pete up, throw them in the trunk of a car, drive them to Boulder, Colorado, drop them off at the AD’s office with a blank, signed check pinned to their chest and a note saying here’s your new coach and one of his coordinators along with 3 years of their salaries compliments of the University of Alabama. You figure out which one is which and good luck with that. Then we go out and find Jeremy Pruitt, tell Sankey to kiss our arse, he was set up by Phat Phil, and give him complete control of the defense. Bring back someone like Milwee to coordinate the offense and let Saban play CEO and recruit full time.
Saban can’t bring in his guys anymore because there aren’t that many of his guys left that are still coaching and not in the command chair. Belichik is having the same problem in New England. They aren’t dinosaurs, but their coaching generation is becoming extinct. And if both coordinators don’t get hired away in December, it’s time to tell them both to not let the door hit them on the way out. It’s time to shake things up except for the head man.

Same shite I heard when we lost 3 games in 2010, including to South Fvkn Carolina. Same shite I heard after 2013 and Kick Six. Saban has lost it. Gus is the new face of college football. Same shite I heard when we lost to Ohio State in the playoffs in 2014 and the NC games to Clemson in 2016 and 2018. Saban changed how he recruited and completely reimagined his offensive mindset. Then we went undefeated in an All-SEC schedule in 2020 and win another NC. I’m sick of this bitching. Bunch of pussies.

Get Demeco Ryans or Pruitt to be Defense Coordinator.

Get Garrett Riley or Phil Longo to be Offensive Coordinator

Except I didn't think Bama should or would win the national championship last year, said it was UGA's year to my friend who is a UGA fan

Returning the best offensive and defensive players in the country along with 3 interior offensive lineman while adding the best RB in the country ...

expectations are to win a national championship

This same team with penis head Pruitt at DC would be wrecking everybody by 30. We just need a shakeup at coordinator.

No doubt, and that is still well within reach. We've seen it happen several times with a Bama team at this point. But, some big changes in on-the-field discipline clearly need to be made for that to happen. How a team responds after a loss is the big test. They can fold, or they can regroup, and fix the problems, and get real hungry.

Don't forget we heard it again in 2015 and the team got a title that year.
