These are weird times we live in. Everything is shut down. In some states, folks are limited to 10 people in their household. That's why I'm voting for Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh seems like the best bet IMO. We need a Stallings-like coach.

Very true. Like Stallings, Harbaughs offense would be #fire.

Stallings had enough of the inner struggles of an administration that didn't appreciate 10 wins a season. Which is fine, provided you have the football acumen to know who the next head coach is that can get you that extra game or 2 every season. How many of those guys are ever around? On the other hand, there is a multitude of coaches that can average far less than 10 wins. Like Mike Dubose.
If Michigan gets rid of Harbaugh they better know who can do better. The wilderness is no fun and they should know.

Yea, but imagine Alabama with Jim Harbaugh. We would be so good. We would just need a leader like Colin Kaepernick to lead the team.

shite we need to jump on that ASAP. Sorry Saban, but it's time.

Yea, definitely. Kaep will also bring more Nike money to us, too!

Imagine the recruits we get with his sleepovers

I would not hire a Saban disciple based primarily on his success as a Saban assistant, which would be the case with Sark. A lot of coaches have and would look good coordinating Bama’s talent.

Tennessee has done it twice in the past decade. How's that working out? But to be fair, this is the way football has always worked. All some guys have to do is put on a Crimson hat and stand on the sidelines and suddenly they belong to the Justice League.

Hiring Harbaugh is the way to go though.

We have to go balls deep and hire Harbaugh. 4D chess and all.

Hell yeah, brother. I may have a kid just so I can get to hangout with Harbaugh in a treehouse.

Has there been a coach in waiting in the past decade? Bad concept that died quickly.

The two that come to mind are Will Muschamp at Texas and James Franklin at Maryland. Obviously neither ever became the head at those respective institutions. It seems the trend died soon after. Mostly because the NCAA treated them like actual head coaches in terms of recruiting.

No such thing anymore and shouldn't be. Makes it very uncomfortable on the incumbent coach and creates unnecessary division and discord in the team and administration.
No thanks.
No thanks.
