Our corners are going to have to win 50/50 balls in man coverage. Stidham is going to throw them. Those chunk plays translate to points

Yep that's where the Safeties can really help if they aren't needed in the run.

When Auburn has good teams they almost always win the 50/50 balls. We are due to be on the winning end of most of those for a game. I hope.

Brando just said that Auburn would win... and win "decisively" on Jacksonville radio.

He's said the same thing about LSU for the last 10 years.

Brando hates Alabama more than any other national media member. Cowherd is more vocal, but I think he is just chasing ratings.

It is really simple imo. Run the ball and stop the run on defense. If we can't run the ball with at least moderate success then we in all probability will not score enough points to win. If we let Johnson have his way with us then they will also likely burn us with play action off of it too meaning we have to outscore them in a shootout.

If they stuff us on first and second downs then it is probably over. Maybe Jalen Hurts can spark the running game and make good decisions on rpo's. I just hope we don't have to rely on his arm to pull this one out.

Completely unprovable nonsense statement based on your personal feeling as a Bama fan.

Sure, they had a run of shocking luck for about 2 years a handful of years ago, but other than that, auburn is a completely normal football team.

If all I did was read this board, I would be left with the impression that Auburn is a team without weakness and Bama was replete with them. I would assume that Auburn the was undefeated, number one team, and Bama was the two loss team.

And the funniest thing is that Bama has only one weakness significant for it to be a talking point - injuries at LB.
And given the recent injuries to auburn's starting MLB/signal caller and starting Nickle back, auburn will be missing more starters in their Nickle package than us, which is the package both teams will stay in the most.

But oh noes, our pets heads are falling off! Ahhhhh!

And for anyone wanting to say "but we're also missing depth" - to that I'd say that auburn never had the depth on D to begin with, at least not at any back 7 position.
