This will more than likely be the first year since 2008 that Bama hasn't been ranked no 1 at some point in the season ending a 15 year streak. The previous record was Miami with 7.

It was a hell of a ride boys. There is no Bryce Tua or Mac to save an inept offense and Saban decided to hire ol buddy Kevin Steele. I just don't see how we dont lose 3-4 games.

This is the one streak I'm gonna hate seeing end. We almost lost it in 2021 but us beating UGA in the SEC champ ensured it would stay alive. Hell of a streak and in my opinion speaks the loudest at how dominant we've been.

Alabama was preseason #1 in 2021, so there was no chance of losing it in 2021. Same in 2022.

You’re right. I was thinking of 2015 (way off on my years) and us winning the playoffs to secure it.

I thought about that last night, too.

It's not impossible to get back to it, but especially with Georgia at 1 and playing maybe one tough game all season, we'll have to make it to the SECCG game and beat them. Again.
