I still think expanding the CFP to 24 is a mistake. It waters it down and makes it more meaningless. Most people don't want to see Bama or UGA (or OSU or Oregon) play an 8-4 Fresno State and then proceed to beat the living doo doo out of them. Not to mention you run the risk of injury. I know there's always a risk of injury but I'd hate like hell to see Ryan Coleman Williams tear up a knee playing San Diego State in a blow out win when Bama may play a good team the following week(s).

Plus, I don't like the idea of the Big Ten calling the shots and forcing the SEC into anything.

Its Fox TV that's pushing it. They know that ESPN cant cover 24 team playoff. 24 teams will have to be split up. 16 or less can be handled by one network and ESPN would probably win the bid.

Then you need to push for a change in Commissioner because Sankey excels at that.

ESPN can cover it. with 4-6 teams getting a bye you only have around 8-10 games in the first weekend. You start on a friday night with 2 leaving 6 games on Sat. You would have to over lap a few but it could be done by one net work

You could go into Sunday but that would be competing with the NFL and ESPN does not do NFL games on Sunday.
