If only the first 22 play the whole game, Indiana has the edge but I think it comes down to 2nd and 3rd string and that's where BAMA wins late. Roll tide.

Indiana has been able to get around their depth all season. I think they've got a star defender that will be out, that is the big"whats the depth like" concern. Alabama and Indiana play so slowly that I don't think there are going to be a ton of snaps in this game. At this juncture, I'm not sure we should expect - much less want - for Alabama to drastically change their pre-snap approach on offense in game 15.
If Alabama's depth "wins" then it will be because our defensive line has a huge game while liberally rotating the two-deep. Less because we're wearing them out and more because there are just too many combinations for them to handle and occasionally get them in bad protection schemes for the bodies on the field.

IU’s defense is built to stop the run first. They have big run stoppers up front and big LB’s. The trade off is in their pass rush. Big guys are are not as twitchy as smaller guys.
The trick is on them because we can’t run the ball anyway. Ty will get more time than he is used to and a protected Ty is elite.
The flip side is also true. Their O line is built for running and for playing other big DL’s in the B1G.
Bottom line, get up early and make them play and defend what they aren’t built to do.

I don't think Indiana's defense will be a shock to Alabama's offense, they have had nothing but top defense thrown at them since mid season. That said obviously our offense is not great. There have been some signs of life from the lately. The long run Hill had against Oklahoma stands out. We haven't seen a similar play all year. It seemed to really effect Oklahoma as well. to me the key to winning the game is just getting a little more production from the run game. We aren't going to rack up big stats there, we just need to keep Indiana from just stacking the box and taking pot shots at Ty's noggin.
On the other side Indiana's offense doesn't make many mistakes. I feel like we need to force something there. A turnover might swing things our way.
I just hope we give them everything we have. it would be a shame to get this far and face plant in the Rose Bowl.

I told you guys:
I've seen this team play up-close all year. Seen many games in Bloomington.
They are Saban-era elite Bama-esque. Period.

If Bama can’t come up with anything that works (and their fate is similar to Oregon/OSU), the fan reaction will be very bad. Actually I take that back, it will be NUCLEAR - and shouldn’t be considering the opposition.
