I know I have been pretty mad that Saban was conservative, but taking a second look why wouldn't he be?

- We start off the game with a big run and Cade misses a suppose to be easy field goal.

- We try to pass the ball and WRs are dropping TD passes.

- We try to kick the ball and Cade continues to miss.

- We don't kick the ball because of Cade missing and we can't pick up a yard for a first down.

The only thing I directly blame Saban for is pulling out Drake, not benching Cade after missing that 33 yarder and not just throwing a hail mary considering our red shirt kicker was most likely ice cold and a little rattled.

I know people like to spread blame around, but there is only one player/coach/person on that field that failed at everything and didn't do a thing right.

That was Cade. He makes just one of those FGs and we are pummeling a very overrated FSU team in four weeks.

I can take solace if the fact that 20, 30, 50 years from now when the Barners are STILL talking about "Kick Bama Kick" I know at that point in life we can place the blame on one person: Cade Foster.

Sorry, but frick Cade. He has one job, and has failed at that job in two of the biggest moments of his career. He cost us one championship and nearly cost us another. You don't get to be bad at your job at still get coddled. We need a good kicker, and I'll be glad when he's gone.

What did he do wrong in the Auburn game other than watch WRs drop his passes?

Granted, as the QB and Leader, he should and will take responsibility, but on the field he did everything right, including putting on a show on how to move in the pocket.

The one thing I take solace in is the fact that Auburns place in the rivalry is winning because of our screw ups....

I know what you're saying but even though they're not getting directly paid a big salary, they are getting paid a pretty big indirect one. That scholarship for one player covers tuition housing and meals which at the very minimum is around 30k a year on top of that they do get a stipend that's included in the scholarship of like 400 dollars a month for general expenses. Then there's the amount of resources in professional help we have and spend on them in tutors for every class and all the sports facilities that have the game rooms and stuff for them. So honestly he does get paid a good bit to do one job.

Cade's partly responsible, AJ's party responsible, our receivers are partly responsible, the O-Line is partly responsible . .

. . and Saban is VERY responsible.

Be careful about saying this...people will think that you're proof that Terry Saban was right.

Dude, pretty much everyone on this board, including me, has held Saban at least partly responsible for the loss, but shite like this:

quote:

The person to give shite to is Nick Saban. It's all on him. I'm way past done with blaming assistants or coordinators for problems

fricking "Never Again" posters in the locker room after 2010. Someone ought to print up a bunch of "Never EVER Again" posters and go paper the walls of the football offices with them.

...makes you look like a fricking loser.

Then why not blame the man who refused to send Griffith out to kick a 30 yarded. Because, after all, he makes them from 60 in practice, right??? At least that's what Saban said.

And if we couldn't pick up a yard for a first down, why not blame the guy who decided to run Yeldon on 2nd and 3, 3rd and 1, and 4th and 1?

I can put some blame on Foster for the LSU game...but if I do, then the blame is all on Saban for not being able to come up with a better option in the two years since.

It's amazing how they're starting to reappear again. Like roaches.

Where were they after they went 3-9 last year?

Ugh, those are the worst kinds of fans.

My good buddy, who lives in Tuscaloosa now, is an Auburn grad. The last 3 years he has acted like he doesnt even have any interest in CFB, and he has actually said just that to me before. Since the UGA game he has Auburn football everything plastered all over his facebook wall. Love the guy, but that shite is annoying.

No, here's the thing. I look on here today and see one thread wanting to blame Bobby Williams and this, even more asinine thread, asking how Cade Foster feels. When people do not or cannot fix the parts of their job where they contiunue to fail, ultimately you have to stop blaming them and blame and instead lay the responsibility where it belongs...on the person who keeps them in that position. If that means that Terry Saban and Funky Tide think that I don't "appreciate" the Sabans, well, then I guess I'll just have to live with that on my conscience.

And trust me, lots of Auburn fans have suddenly come out of the closet here in middle Tennessee, along with the Vol fans who are eating it up.

You can say its nicks fault cause he is the head guy, but well just have to agree to disagree. I place the blame on Cade for the loss.

Foster sucks....but it was a team loss and based on some very weird and uncharachteristic decisions by Saban and staff....Seems like we have one of these once a year.....I chalked up the MSU game to the LSU hangover effect....but this team seemed to regress badly over the following two weeks.
