Yes, really.
They played 4 ranked teams under Hugh and scored 17, 10, 10, and 17 (in 2OT) against them. They managed 26 against an Arkansas (one of their TDs was a pick-6) team that gave up an average of 38 on the season - and of course then scored 3 at home against a Kentucky team that averaged giving up 23.
Under Durkin they took Vandy and Alabama down to the wire - including putting >400 yards on a Bama defense that's been playing damned good.
Subjectively, they've also looked loads better. Offensively, they where a clusterfrick under Hugh.
