Then why didn’t he get Simpson more reps?

Why didn't Saban?

Holding DeBoer accountable for Milroe while giving Saban a pass for doing literally the exact same thing with the exact same backup happens a lot here.

Clearly Jalen had some voodoo spell on most of the roster and there would have been some sort of mutiny if he was benched. There's really no other reason why two coaching staffs would make the same decision to play this guy.

Pretty sure you mean Ryan Grubb

Grubb was an elite play caller in college. I thought he was doing well in the league but reading up some it appears alot Seattle fans are not happy. They are 8-6 so it may be a possibility they move on from Grubb. I hope we can snag him up but he or his wife apparently hates Alabama. This is deboer first year without him and it damn well shows offensively especially handcuffed with Milroe

By all accounts Jalen is a great guy and everyone loves him. It’s easy to pull for guys like him and give him more chances even when things aren’t going well. I believe that’s all there is to that.

doing well in Seattle.

By what metric? They're like 6th in passing yards sure but like 16th in total yardage and points per game and 28th in rushing yards.

I think anyone replacing the GOAT would have a tough time. With that, the look of some of the losses, and the poor QB play, he has hung in there about as well as one can. It's actually a testament to who the guy is.
