The crazy thing is, Georgia has basically had all year to come up with a plan to beat Alabama. They played Clemson in week one and faced very little opposition in the East this year. Florida is a dumpster fire. Their final two games of the regular season were against Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech.

And I am wondering what they would do now they didn't do a month ago

I expect their defense to bring pressure on every play like LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M did. They won't sit back and let Bryce pick them apart and run tempo. Also expect their offense to establish the run game. They have a potent running game and we need to make Bennett beat us. Teams that beat Alabama have balance and an accurate QB. Hopefully he has an off night.

Bring pressure from the beginning. I think Kirby thought he could win straight up. They didn’t bring it until late in the third, early fourth quarter.

I do think they’ll blitz a hell of a lot more. Question is, can BOB get creative enough and add in a few wrinkles this week to make them bleed for it?

It all comes down to whether or not the offensive line performs up to standard. The right side has to protect and open up running lanes plus pick up blitzes. Also worried about Seth McLaughlin going up against Aaron Davis and Devonta Wyatt. Those two are freaks.

I would put a speed rusher on Owens every play of the game. I just hope the game plan against Cincy was basic, and to save the changes without metchie for UGA. I don't think there was too big concern going into that game.

Does UGA have a pure speed rusher though ? Their top two pass rushers from last year, Adam Anderson and Aziz Ojulari, are not playing. Alabama has the better pure pass rushers between the two teams. Owens has been the weak link on this line but I thought that JC Latham held his own on Friday.

McElroy was peak clown last night. Basically said UGA just went through the motions the first time and Alabama will have to play better this time to win. A take I’ve heard from other national media types as well. This time UGA means business.

Maybe Georgia was overconfident…but no chance in hell they didn’t really really really really really really badly
