Alabama and Arkansas would be the only 2 schools in the country that have been to a Football Bowl, NCAA Basketball Tournament and NCAA Baseball Tournament the last 2 seasons (so 6 straight). Arkansas didn't play their 2021 bowl because of COVID, but they technically made it. You could throw in softball there, too, for both of us, and it'd be all 4 for the last 2 seasons. LSU would also have met the criteria if they'd participated in bowl season in 2021, but they didn't. Oregon was 1 off, too, I believe (2022 men's basketball). Texas (2021 football bowl), Florida (2022 men's basketball) as well.

Add in women's basketball (basically making it the 5 biggest sports played in the SEC) and we'd have 7 of 8 (2022 Womens BB the only one outside postseason play).

Not bad.

We may already be in. If we can win one more game I think we’ll be pretty close to a lock. Luckily we have two shots to win one game.

I’m not saying they weren’t ugly, but they weren’t really terrible losses. Just needed a win a didn’t get it. It was a rough ask against a national seed and a UF team that’s playing their way into a host spot.

I’m still pessimistically hopeful we can sneak into a regional, but it’s looking a lot less likely since Friday.

if both losses were more competitive like a 5-4 or 3-2 then the committee could have seen that Bama had the pitching to last. We sadly did not. National pundits now have us as one of the last teams out

Some pundits prior to the tournament said we had to make it to Sunday to be safely in.
